ICBC windshield replacement question

If I have cracks in my window due to highway rock chips, will ICBC replace the windshield with the BMW OEM windshield which has the rain sensor? Or will they opt for the cheapest solution at speedy glass or some place else at lower costs?

I am so fucking pissed with the route southbound to Richmond on Highway 91A, coming off the Queensborough bridge. I go to work via that route, and I have been hit 3 times with flying rocks at the exact same location in the past 3 months. It is at the curvature turning right when you come off the Queensborough bridge. They seriously need to set up nets to stop incoming flying stones from the opposite direction.

is the crack repairable? do you have a 3rd party insurance? if your only with ICBC then they will find the cheapest shit out there. i have a 3rd party/ private insurance and paying extra $50 a month on top of my ICBC ins. when shit happens to my car they will only replace it with OEM parts.

i just got mine replaced before i returned my lease a few months ago, and u just pay the decductible, i think its around $200-$300 depending on your policy, go to ICBC claim center to make a claim first, they will give u a form, just bring that claim form into any glass repair shop and specify u want OEM glass and make sure they are aware that there is a rain sensor on it

if u want a shop recommendation (in Port Moody area), PM me...
