335i sedan tire pressure monitor?
Just picked up my 335i sedan two weeks ago. In the manual, it states the car has a tire pressure monitor, as well as a Flat Tire Warning System. However, through the iDrive menu, I can only locate the Flat Tire Warning Indicator and no Tire Pressure Monitor.
Can other 335i sedan owners verify this? I want to make sure that I don't order the transmitters (as in the coupe) for my winter wheels. It seems that the sedan has the older system using the ABS sensors, rather than the newer RF transmitted system in the coupe. Thanks for your input. |

I just came back from ED. I posted on Bimmerfest that I have the FTM option on my i-drive, thus I believe that I dont have the new TPS monitors. This is good news as it will save me $280 on my winter tire package.

If you can wait a week, I'll be taking delivery of my e90 328i and will intsall the wheels/tires without sensors that I have standing by. I'll let you know then if the car illumintaes dummy lights or displays any other sort of error.
