You can do a bulb switch or you can change to LED or HID. Cheap is a matter of opinion. There is a sticky about AE upgrades, try reading it.

Garage List
2009 BMW  [9.24]
Cheapest would be GP Thunders at around $20 for the set...you get what you pay for though, they'll be pretty dull in sunlight and may dim when you turn your headlights on...for a really good set in all conditions, try looking at the LUX H8 for around $250

He has a non-LCI Sedan. GP thunders will not work. LUX H8 will not work.

Get a set of LUX 5.0.

Thumbs up F1 Autohaüs • MTEC E90 LED angel eye

If you're looking for something at a good price, I would recommend the new MTEC E90 LED angel eye upgrade as seen installed below:

They'll work just fine and are a direct plug and play replacement. No flickering or flashing as well upon start up. Let me know if you have any questions

I wonder if the M Techs don't flicker because of an added capacitor. Everyone on the posts say that all installed LEDs flicker due to the BMW "testing" the lights...
