At 6500k they should produce a real nice effect, with at least 30%+ brightness difference. I know there not branded but at that price id save around 100 quid, and at 16 quid its worth the chance.

What do you think? shouldnt do any harm?

I was going to buy the phillips diamond vision but at 40 quid a pair i dont know

I've got these. The light from them is white with a tinge of blue (not yellowy). I added these sidelights to them:

And redone the fogs too for completeness.

The colour temp is not quite as high as 6500k (point at which light starts looking "tacky" IMO)

I bought a set of these for my 5 series and then sent them back. Nice blue looking light, but not bright enough to drive normally in the dark. I actuallly think they arent safe.


I replaced them with Phillips Blue Vision. Not as Xenon a look, but I think you need to be careful with headlights with look over function.

6500k looks "too blue" IMO. These Philips bulbs are very marketed. I know around 3 people who put them on their car and were not impressed with the look.

I went with Philips X-treme Power Racing Performance. They were tested by auto car etc.
didn't know what to expect, turns out they are very good. Notice the difference straight away. Intense white light

i just upgraded to halfords super brilliance or whatever they are called, £24.99 each bulb, but they are 2for1 in store and i had some vouchers from crimbo. i am very impressed with them! no pics, but i can confirm it is a ball ache to change the bulbs, dropped a clip in the bumper etc etc..
