washers not working.

I have just managed to get my car out of the snow, got it on the motorway flicked the windscreen washers and nothing happened. Not even the wipers flicked across the screen. No noise from the washer motor. Is this due to the frost or is a visit to the stealers needed

Frozen.

Washers on my old e90 always froze. Annoying as they are supposed to be heated and it never happened on my e46.

edit: wipers should move though ... do they work if you switch them on manually?

Mine just started working. I had the exact same problem as you for about 4 days and today the washer and wipers started to work again. It must just be the bad weather.

Mine were exactly the same and non-functional but the thaw recently has returned them to normal.

Mine have just started to work. Poured some boiling water into the washer bottle and 10 mins later everything back to normal. Will make sure the washer mix is better from now on.

Mine is 320d. I have very similar washer prob. Thanks for your posting and I will try out your suggestion. But I am not sure about 'Rain X 2 in 1 de-icer'. Is it a brand of de-icer? Where I can get one? What do you mean by 'emptied it used the Pink stuff'? My water reservoir is full at the moment. So is it correct that I have to empty all the water with the pick stuff? Do I need to go under the car to empty the water? Sorry for all these silly questions
