How long are ED cars held at customs?

My 335 that I took ED of arrived in NY yesterday. My CA told me that U.S. customs holds these cars at the port for two to three weeks before they clear them. How long were your ED cars held at customs?

They are held until the customs official shows up and does the inspection. No more, no less. Varies greatly. No idea why you were told what you were, it´s not correct.

It's rarely longer than 2 weeks from the time it docks,till it arrives here in the midwest unless the car had previous damage or other isssues. I was under the impression that east coast carss are usually a week or less from docking date.They move the cars along as fast as they can since they need the space for the next group.
