What do you guys think about this HID kit? Do you think Ill get an error message or should I just stick with the Mtech HID kit. Any advice is much appreciated.

Looks like you'll get an error on those. You should go with the MTEC kit.

problem is that Mtec are $200 while generic ones are $37.. that's a big difference. Maybe you should try the capacitor trick on the cheap kit... will run you under $50 for the setup.

i was wondering the same thing. i am new to the BMW world and on all of my Nissans in the past, the cheap HID kits worked great...in fact, i still have a brand new kit untouched. so without the 'mtec' they throw trouble codes on the Bimmers? how dumb. can someone please tell me of a reliable site to check these mtec kits out?

Thanks,
