Boost Gauge Location/Interior Trim Removal Question
I would like to install a 42mm gauge and my XM radio unit at the bottom of the center console. My car doesnt have seat warmers or anything. How do i remove this trim piece to see if i can drill into it?

that is a blank panel if you don't have any accessories already down there. On a 335 sedan you have to get a wedge into the side, toward the top more and pry out. Search for the "All Button" in climate control....
here use this... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306230

It has been done and it is easy. Unfortunately it is a horrible location if you need to see the gauge. Our cars are powerful enough that you need to be able to see things while still looking at the road. I am floored a vendor is not stepping up to make us a simple pod. I would love to see a pillar pod that was "breakaway" in the event the airbags deployed.
