Laser Jammer worth buying on LI?
Who is currently using one?
I was looking at picking up the Blinder M27 X-treme but I'd like to hear some feedback first before I splurge $479 on one. I already have a Passport 8500 but it has its limitations as everyone knows... Also, do troopers/highway patrol mainly use laser or radar guns? Thanks. |

my bell pro system has saved me more times than i count, it alerts me to when there is a laser trap ahead, as i am being lasered, and when it is jamming a signal from a gun. pm me if you need any more info, they are DEF, DEF worth it if you do any type of spirited driving above the posted speed limits.

yeah the extreme doesn't work as good as some of the other jamming systems, it offers pretty good coverage though, i just wouldn't go out buying a system until you have thoroughly researched your options, the bell pro series is amongst the best, they use the same jammers as the k40 systems as well. make sure to get both front and rear protection. i look at it this way, if a cop can't PROVE you were speeding, he CAN'T write you a ticket. they really do save your life.

I also checked out the Laser Interceptor but it's $1225 for the quad sensors. |

Cough up a few more buck and get the Laser Interceptor. It jams most of the guns and by far the best in the competition for lidar jammers.

Laser Interceptor will jam the gun all the way to zero feet. Some jammers only jam the gun to about 1000 feet+ so if you get lasered in a close distance you're screwed so LI is the best. I had a Blinder m25 and Escort Shifter but returned them after reviews and got a LI instead.

yeh Laser Interceptor is on my list of things to get for spring. I've been noticing a few locals camped out in shady spots with them around by me.
Derek you guys install the interceptors? |

My other question is where do you mount the sensors? I've read that mounting them behind the grilles or near the license plate are non-effective areas. |

Cops aim for headlights and license plates so figure around there. It tells you where is best to put in the manual. Also i got Veil G3 for my headlights so that helps a bit more. I been lasered at going 110 ish on Garden state parkway and i slowed down to 75 ish and turned the jammer off. Cop flashed me when i passed with his side lights but he didnt come out. SO IM SURE IT WORKS!!!

Remember they can also give you a ticket by pacing your speed. It's always going to be your word against the officer's.
GL! And be careful out there.
