Oil level indicator shows low after oil change
I just had my oil and filter changed today. They put in 7 Qt of BMW oil. When I checked the oil level it showed less than the Max but still in the OK range. When I got home I checked it again after cycling the ignition and it read the same. So I added a few ounces of oil and the indicator still showed the same level. I'm afraid to keep adding more oil and overfill it because I know it only takes 7 Qt. Has anyone else had this happen to their car?
