3 weeks waiting and still no refund check
i had placed an order on a e92 and placed a 1k deposit. several days later, i found a better deal elsewhere and canceled my order. i called and canceled my original order and my ca canceled it with no problems as i had not been even given a production number. 2 weeks goes by and still no refund check, i call and the ca says it should come in sometime this week. nothing. i'm on 3 weeks now and still nothing. i call and they say i should've gotten it by now and they'll see what they can do. this is beginning to be frustrating and i'm thinking of writing a complaint to bmwna. what do you guys think?

hmmm... why not go to the dealer, and have them cut you a new check.
also, always get it in writing that any deposit is fully refundable.

I find the best thing in this kind of situation is to call them up or stop by to visit them very slightly irate. Explain that you have been made promises that have been broken. At that point they will probably apologize and tell you that they will send a check in ____ amount of time. Then tell them that you will be waiting for the check and if it doesn't arrive as promised you will well and truly "lose your mind."
Maybe I look/sound like a psycho or something but this never fails me, ever. Immediate resolution always follows without me actually having to go insane. |

thanks for the replies guys. i called today and was told their business dept was closed and that they would find out first thing monday morning. also, gave them the heads up that i would file a formal complain with them if i have to wait any longer.
mods? can we move this into the right forum, wasn't paying attention earlier. thanks.
