Cali licene plate question.

i got holes on my front bumper from the dearlership. im trying to think a solution to fix it. bumper plugs is a no no for me. i was thinking about geting a new bumper but was wondering is it against the law to drive with only one license plate? i dont wana spend money on a new bumper if i got to drills holes on it again. if so im just going to put back my front plate and settle with a areo lip. and i was also wondering is it possible to personalize my license plate color black and yellow like the old school california plates?

Yep against the law but not necessarily cheap, fix it's double in price with each successive occurence so it could get pricey depending on how many you get for it. In LA the parking enforcement folks issue plate tickets as well and I've seen them just going on down Venura writing meter or plate tickets on car after car. Google RHO plate, solid solutionthat does not require drilling and cheaper than the second ticket should you get the first one

depends on where you live. In the Bay Area they don't really give a crap about that. But if you're caught speeding or for something else they'll just pile on the tickets, including NLPs and tint.

Yep, I just got pulled over for speeding last month... the cop was nice enough to not give me a speeding ticket but she did hit me with tint and no front license plate... The ticket is $25 per offense so $50 for me... I bolted the plate to the front holder and 3M double-back taped the holder to the bumper! It worked great although I wouldn't recommend for more than the drive to CHP... Tint was $100 to remove and reinstall... hope that helps your decision...
