Do you have the iDrive and/or Bluetooth? You could get the cradle in the armrest with the iPhone adapter. This would hold the phone, charge the phone, and if there is an external antenna jack on the phone it will connect it to the dorsal fin for better reception. It also keeps it out of sight.

You could also look at the pro-clip mounts and Brodit phone holders.
You can get dash or centre console mounts: http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodi...it-Proclip.asp Then attach an iphone holder: http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodi...dit-Holder.asp I have used proclip mounts in quite a few of my vehicles and they have always been sturdy, and don't leave any marks on removel. Brodit holders are also very good quality |

As its a radiation emitting device I have now stopped carrying mobiles in pockets etc. Mine is usually in my work bag in the boot. Sync's perfectly everytime. Now you wouldn't be trying to SMS or surf the web on the go would you? Tut tut. |
