Potholes WARNING

Our roads arent any more durable than those HPFPs on N54 engines. After just one day of heavy rain, i've noticed a large increased amount of potholes on my daily commute and they are the UGLY ones.

Just wanna make a thread to keep a note to myself as well as for the others so we can see less "o shit i bent my rims" or "damn... crashed" threads

so here's what i've noticed so far

405 South, right before Jamboree exit merge. Outer most lane. FOUR consecutive big potholes (2 on the left and 2 on the right). AVOID at all cost. THESE will for sure bent your aftermarket rims.

update

merging on the 101N from 60/10fwy in the innermost lane. there's a series of potholes on the left side just after the little tunnel.

5 north just after the 170 merges up, the far left lane is terrible, stay away

Beach Blvd in Buena Park area. It has killed 2 tires already

There's a really bad one getting onto the 71N from the 91E. Just go slow when getting onto this ramp, it's right at the start of it, and it's in a tough spot since there are barriers on either side.

133 south past the 73 freeway heading towards the ocean

60 West. Stay away from the 2 outer most lanes after Grand ave. Exit until you pass Phillip Rance Exit. Countless potholes.

I will update the thread if people actually give a damn.

This is a great opportunity to put your stock wheels back on and then put your nice ones on after the pot holes are fixed

I would have to say that is most waste of time, there isnt that many potholes in orange county..

and its not like everyday we are driving on sunset in hollywood i would avoid that street at all times.

i have to agree, hate potholes but most of irvine roads are well built and maintained, not like west covina/pomona, lol

Funny you would mention Pomona... Just hit a pothole getting on the 10W on Towne. Didn't remember there being a pothole there; still haven't checked my rim yet. *sigh* With my luck this year, there'll be a bubble waiting for me.

City of Oxnard. I can't figure it out. They patch (sorta) it rains, the pot hole is back, in a few weeks they patch (sorta) again, . . . If they just did it right the first time, they wouldn't have to go back.

Also on 57S exiting chapman/nutwood there is always a pothole that seems they like to fix and 6 months its back

right now i saw 2 good size ones on the right side if you are going to make right turn on to nutwood from the 57s exit...
