How to fit the spring in sliding front armrest?

There was a spring supplied with my split/sliding front armrest, but I have never got round to fitting it, as I couldn't work out how it went. Could someone with the sliding armrest please take a macro shot of how the spring assembly fits into the rear of the centre console at the hinges of the armrest?
