i have 8k foglights with lux H8 angel eyes and 8k D1s bulbs but the D1s are not mtec like the foglights do you think that the color will be off because of this becuase the foglights are slightly darker than the headlights

What brand of bulbs are you using for the low beam and fogs?

With an open housing (fogs), the HID color will always be more pronounced.

Actual color will vary from different manufacturers.

What your plans are will vary on the look that you're aiming for.

It's probably best if you go with the same brand of bulb for the low beam and fogs for a closer, better match.

The color does vary between manufacturers so I suggest sticking with the same manufacturer to ensure a match.
