New catch can idea!

So it all started with me removing my Riss oil catch can, which was leaking.I found many things wrong with it's design! 1.fittings sealed with o-rings that should have copper seal washers 2.Bad fitment 3.the allens at the top are all show,it's held together with epxoy! 3.just all around poor quality.
So I made my own,all with things from around the shop! let me know what you think! I still need to weld the bottom back on and make a bracket to mount it.

Looks about 100 times better than the Riss Racing made in China crap! Maybe you should go into business!

AR's kit mounts by the P/S reservoir, hoses are little longer but thats about it between the mounting points.

That looks great, Duncan!

I don't know why you haven't gone into business for yourself yet cause you definitely have the innovation. You made it look so easy when you sent the pictures earlier ....... I wouldn't have had the first clue.

The AR CC can also be mounted right at one of the vaccum canisters by relocating one.

Wonder how hard it would be to source a replaceable filter element versus the steel wool? What are the demensions on the inside, I'll poke around later on the internet and see if I can find one. If I do would you be opposed to trying that out if I sent it to you?

sure! It's a steel Brillo pad.I bought a metal mesh fuel filter to put on the return line, just to see if the Brillo breaks down over time... Also thinking about threading the outside to make it possible to service it! And I may have a few more for sale...

Update time, got it welded and I am very happy with it! I changed the drain to a petcock style drain, much better looking and a stronger seal.now it's primed and ready for the wrinkle coating.
