Scottish guys up for 1/4 mile ?

Just wondering if anyone fancied a wee drive up to Crail and see what the cars can do on the 1/4 mile. (or the oval if anyone fancies trying to drift)

Not had a chance to drive my 335d agressivly yet and curious what it will do.

Anyone else from Glasgow area ?

Pete, its all good fun so bring the 320d up and we can see the differences in times.

Chris, its on every two weeks. Maybe Sunday 28th Feb? Its the next big event so should be some other stuff going on as well for anyone that gets bored up going in a straight line.

Should a remapped 320d (163) be able to take a type r? In standard trim its supposed to be 8.4s to 60mph. I'd be surprised if its gone sub 7s. Mine doesn't feel quite quick enough for that, although I have noticed the bmw feels slower than its actually going in comparison to other cars.

I'm hopefully getting a rolling road done this weekend to see what its actually putting out.

re-mapped you will give it a good run though mate!

Focus ST's and Type-R's usually do low 15's, thats what re-mapped 320d do!

Type-R 197HP no torque, yours 210+HP and shit load of torque!

I quite like the "BMW 320d's For Sale" at the bottom of the page!!

"One careful drag racer driver"

I'd really like to get a remap done before however I doubt that will happen for a few months!
