Feb 13th- Go Karting Smackdown and PROcede taste test day
Hi guys,
I'll be coming out to the East coast next month and wondered if you guys would be interested in a meet at NYGP on Saturday, Feb 13? In addition to having a little karting competition (more on that later), I'd like to bring a bunch of PROcede v4s and let people try them in their cars. Doesn't matter if your car is stock or already has a tune. If you've been wondering how a v4 would feel in your car, here's your chance. And it wont cost you a penny! Of course, if you want to purchase a PROcede CANbus v4 system, you can. And you would get free installation along with it As for the karting competition, I was thinking about organizing a practice and a race among us BMW enthusiasts. And will be giving away a FREE PROcede CANbus v4 for the n54 owner who runs the fastest lap. And that means that you also have to out-lap me. And I'm going to do my best to win. Seriously. So maybe 1 session of practice to get to know the track and the karts. And a second session of hardcore competition. Rumor has it that there are new 9hp karts now available as well. So it will be very fun So what do you guys think? I know it's Valentine's day weekend but maybe your significant other will let you have a fun day at the track. If there is enough interest, I'll make further arrangement (reserve the track, set times, set the exact place for the install/taste test extravaganza, etc.) Cheers, shiv Last edited by OpenFlash; 01-25-2010 at 11:19 PM.. |

That sounds awesome. Wish I was still in NY
I believe you have to take a class to be able to drive the 9hp carts but the regular carts are pretty damn fun on their own. Awesome idea putting this together! |

I was at Velocity Racing in NJ off the 17 a few months ago.

shiv - yes, they have new 9hp karts, but in order to drive them you must first take a $300 4 hour class (which includes instruction using these karts)

I looked at the track configuration and it looks great! Elevation changes and everything.... all of the indoor kart tracks I've ever been to were flat!

Shiv,
I'd be down for it... although I already had you install a procede for me... I've recently become single, so a significant other to keep me from coming wouldn't be an issue at all.. Let me see how my 'military' schedule is... Maybe I take a day of leave... Would be nice to meet some fellow e90poster's...
