Does anyone do diagnostic?

Hi guys,
I used to do diagnostic for faults on my passat myself with vag-com software and OBD2 cable. Cost me only £12 for cable,
Is anything available for BMW?

Cheapest diagnostic solution is the Bavarian Technic tool. Works off a PC with an OBD2 cable.

Does e90 have OBD2 connector?
Cause my passat had OBD2 connector and it is absolutely different to BMW.
My OBD2 cable from VW won't fit to BMW OBD2 plug

There are many different variations of an OBD2 plug

You won't be able to use the one from the VW
