Is this a good deal???

I saw this on the net and it seems like it has everything that I want...sport/cold weather/prem/nave/etc. Bad thing is that its a loaner vehicle. What do you guys think of the price???

i usually tend to push most loaner cars pretty hard, especially a BMW loaner

and i know i can't be the only one out there that does this. that price would be a great starting point though

BMW is knocking off alot of money off the left over 2009s. Try your local dealer, you might get a good deal.

Sedans are a dime a dozen, I'm sure you can find one that wasn't a loaner.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I'll have to search for a new 09. How does 8k off a new 09 335xi sound? Bad thing is that it doesnt have Sport nor Nav...

i think it sounds like a pretty good deal. It's a bmw loaner car, so i think they would keep it in pretty good condition. And they usually loan out their cars to older clients so i wouldn't worry about the car being pushed too hard. Plus, this loaner has navi and all the goodies, so bmw probably only loaned it out to their best customers.

If you can get 8-10k off of MSRP on a new car, I say go for it. Don't settle for a particular car, get what you want!

http://www.bmwofsterling.net/new/veh...PM73549A366521

See what you can get off of that one. 45k out the door?

I was trying to stick around 40k. I saw this one but like I said, no nav or sport.
The price on the website is wrong..the MSRP is 48k..they are advertising at 40k

Looks like a starting point for negotiations, Garmins aren't too bad compared to the older iDrive systems.

I just picked up this '09 E90LCI 335 at a dealer in NJ. It was a loaner and spotless with 7.7K miles and loaded with SP, PP, Nav, PDC, etc. Got it for $39K. Could have gotten a little bit more off I'm sure but they gave $44K for my '05 Porsche 997S which was about $2K higher than anybody else. Easiest transaction I've ever been involved in.

19" VMR V701s and GIAC tune coming very soon.

Thank you.

I think that is a good deal you posted up. Kind of surprising actually because they (Tisher) have a black 335i there pretty loaded with less than 1k miles and one with about 3K but they wouldn't do any better than $42-43K on for me PLUS were only going to offer me $38K for my 997S on a trade. I told Kevin (sales guy) what kind of deal I was getting at DeSimone BMW in Mt Laurel, NJ and I really think he still doesn't beleive me...but he knows that I completed the transaction this past Tuesday.

Not slamming Tisher at all because they can't be beat on price and service for BMW Performance items. They were just trying to "steal" my 997S and put it on their Porsche lot as opposed to wholesaling it where I would have gotten more for it. Oh well, a 2.5 hr drive to NJ saved me $9k.

I would go without purchasing a loaner.

I got 2 335 loaners within the past year and drove it like I stole it. Im sure I was not the only one.

I think I will go the Tischer one day this week and take a look at the car. More of an issue with me is the possibility of a HPFP failure.

I wouldn't make a HPFP failure a determining factor for that car (we all already know its an issue). if it hasn't failed yet, it prob will soon. if it already failed, you're prob better off IMO.

go drive it to see exactly how bad its been dogged b/c as you can see from the responses above, everyone dogs loaner cars.

that would be me!!!

the dealer should be able to tell you if the FP was replaced or not. Tischer is a pretty reputable dealer and many of us go there for service. actually if any dealer wont tell you that info, i'd run as fast as you can and deal with someone else.

Yea, when I purchased my car... I received a PDF from BMW of every record available associated with that VIN. Definitely included each service visit and what was done.
