Haven't been able to find an LED solution for this yet that is error free. It's a very odd bulb, it has a larger bulb with a flat 194 style base.

after reading thorugh the thread, which led me to the VLED website for that specific bulb, it seems like some of the reviews on the site shows that it doesn't illuminate more than a regular bulb, at most.

I was curious about led backup light bulbs too. I wanted some brighter bulbs that could maybe illuminate more when I'm backing up at night...

^Mike, do these do the blink show at startup that is so common (and obnoxious) with led's? Also are they any brighter than the stock bulbs? I smoked that little wedge section with some hobby tint paint, and would like to regain a little bit of output from my reverse lights.

Thanks!

I don't recall since they were tested on an X5. Those members who purchased could confirm for the E92s

Your stock halogen (T15/921) bulb operates at 18W so they will be much brighter with usable yellow light. The LEDs will be more intense with a whiter light.

Example on an E90:

De-smoke that wedge section or get some HID reverse lights

I would think that a small LED light wouldn't be as bright as the stock bulb. I could be wrong with that though.
