Exclamation FS: Tuning Package! PROcede V3 Rev1 w/ tuning laptop and code reader

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Everything you need to install, upgrade software, log and custom tune the PROcede V3 Rev I loaded with the 9/9 maps and firmware!

Asking $300 +shipping.

PM your offers for remaining items!

Included:
  1. PROcede V3 Rev I (non-canbus) with PnP harness, & both remotes. Purchased new from Vishnu Fall 2008 SOLD
  2. Compaq Presario 1800T laptop with Windows XP, 320gb RAM, wireless card, docking station and case. Loaded with PROcede reader software. SOLD
  3. Serial to USB cable for connecting PROcede to laptop.
  4. C-reader code reader for reading and clearing OBD2 codes.

Setting expectations:
  • Laptop works great for loading maps, logging with the PROcede software, reading and clearing codes with BT tool (if you have one), web surfing, etc. However I only got ~3 samples per second using the BT scanner, so not ideal for this use.
  • Serial to USB cable is not long enough to route through the glove box.
  • C-Reader will read and clear generic OBD2 codes (for any vehicle), but will not read the extended BMW codes as the BT scanner does.

If you're in the Boston area, local pickup would be preferred and I'd be more than willing to help out with the install.

Thanks!

To answer a couple questions I've gotten:
  • Laptop has had battery, hard drive (75gb), and cooling fan replaced in the last 2-3 years. Again, not a gaming laptop but works great for loading maps/ customizing the PROcede.
  • Would prefer to sell package as a whole, but willing to sell pieces separately - PM me an offer if interested.

Thanks!

Actually yes, it will. If you have the homelink option on your car you can program one to the On button and one to the Off button of the key fobs that come with the V3. You can see the map switching relay in the top of the picture (black box with blue wire attached)

If anyone's still questioning the map switching capabilities, here's an excerpt from the user adjustables guide and a link to the guide on the Vishnu forums (some pretty good detail about all the functionality available as well)

Future Use 1
This entry enables (1)/disables(0) remote control relay map-switching.
