HID's and Angel Eyes
Ok well heres my dilema, like I said in my last post I'm getting my dads E92 335i passed down to me very soon. As well as upgrading the exhaust system I'm looking to get some HID's as well as new Angel Eyes. The lights on the car aren't xenon and the H8 angel eyes seem weak to me. What I'm faced with are all of these different names and companies being thrown at me and not knowing which one to go too so I was hoping you guys could give me your opinions about which lights would be the best pick for and E92 335i. I'm also looking to throw in some HID fog lights as well. So if you guys could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks.

I put Angel iBrights v3 halo's on my 335i Cpe. Kind of pricey and they aren't the brightest on sunny days but in the early evening and on dark days they look sweet. I bought my lights from European Auto Source, very happy with my purchase.

I'm getting the M-Force design RD LED angel eyes. Seems to have good review. Just about to order it...

Nope no issue with them, they match my angel eyes and headlights (8K) perfectly but I usually just leave my angel eyes and fogs on...I personally wouldn't go with RD LED's because they suck and if u want a pair I'll give you mine that are laying in my trunk but won't guarantee they work lol I've had them blow out on me twice in a year so I just did the HID's which is about the same money

Im on the Jlevi site now checking out those WeissLicht. They seem really bright and straight forward. I also took a look at those LUX H8's on e92-lighting. Do you think that $130 price difference is worth getting the LUX ones? |

you get what you pay for, don't go cheap because it'll cost you more in the end

+1 with getting what you pay for. Honestly, the only product that I've never heard a negative review and constantly see being recommended is LUX. They are worth it for a quality product.
I dont know much about Jlevis AE upgrade but I haven't really heard anything negative about it. |

Is this sarcasm? I can't tell, my sarcasm detector has been on the fritz lately.
In case you're serious, You know that there is diminishing returns from increasing bulb temperature, right? After about 5000k, the light just gets bluer and more dim. 10k would be purple and not as bright. The stock HIDs are something like 4300-5000K, and they're about as bright as you can get at standard wattage. |
