BMW Canbec in MTL
Anyone else make their order from here?
I made my order in mid-July with Jacqui Cohen of Canbec, overall it went pretty well. He immediately gave us the max 3% discount seeing as how we live in the same community in Montreal, and he answered all questions and was very patient with my very busy work schedule. Nothing thrown in, but we'll see what happens on Delivery Day. Now the problem is waiting, I ordered my car with I-drive and there's none whatsoever in Canada right now (or so they say, which another dealer in Toronto corroborated for me), so it's already been close to a month and a half and still no word. Can't wait! |

I go through Jalbert in Kirkland, with whom I am very happy. Nothing like a good Sales Associate, eh?
Are they building your car or just looking for one to buy off the lot? |

Had to have it produced and everything from the factory, this was back in July. It just got off the boat in Halifax yesterday and should be here within 10 days to 2 weeks.
It appears no one in Montreal orders them with navigation. |

It's funny, at the Drive event back in May none of the cars ahd the Second Wave either...just one on display **Locked**. How are they going to sell them if we can't touch and feel them?
Anyway, I'm sure the Nav doesn't work well in Quebec, all our streets have about 4 different names off-island! Congrats Ever35, will you be doing a lot of miles in that car? |

I also made my order in mid july (the 15th) at park avenue bmw on the south shore (brossard)
I went to Cambec 2 days before and I had a very bad service.......the sale person doesn t allow me to drive the car on the highway, pretending that there was too much trafic that day!!! could you believe it? On the opposite at park avenue i did a long road test and the sale lady was much nicer ! by the way they had to made a special order for me too....the car should be there between sept 15th and 29th Procureur, how do you know that your car is in Halifax? may be mine is there too because we ordered at the same time ... |

What % of teint are you getting in Quebec?
What does the law allow? And did you had a ticket for having too much teint? The dealer told me 50% front and 35% back would be ok.....but I wanted to have it much darker 35% front and 15% back.....do you think I might have a ticket in the montreal area? |
