traffic bum tried givin me a ticket

so im waiting for my chinese food outside the restaurant and im standing in a no parking 7am to 7pm zone..and this traffic cop comes and says how u doin. I say whats up. He says you are in a no parking zone. I told him "are you mentally challenged im standing with my car in drive and my foot on the break, the sign says "no parking" not "no standing" and he begins writing a ticket..i just left going around the block once ..wtf are these traffic cops stupid or something? my mom got a ticket for no parking after 9 at 8:55

LOL i ran from one of those scooter NYPD cops before. It was fun watching him run few redlights to catch me and i got on Henry Hudson parkway and said BYEBYE off to bridge i go.! lol

you're gonna get a ticket in the mail if he started writing it already. i got one a month ago in a no standing zone. i saw the traffic cop coming in his car, so i drove away. i thought he didnt get my plate or start writing so i figured i was good to go. then a week ago i get a ticket in the mail for $125.

If you said "are you mentally challenged...." I bet for sure he wrote the ticket....I think if you would have just left then it would have been fine, but that wise ass remark probably got you a ticket....I agree all ticket agents are a-holes

i kno i never considered them police officers they dont even have guns...hell i even run red lights right in front of them just to piss them off and honk(and i never honk) at them whenever they block traffic because i HATE them soooo much

I appreciate cops and their main responsibility of "serve and protect". It's just unfortunate that now their job description has been changed to "give unwarranted tickets and pester citizens".

wait so you were STOPPED at a spot where it says no parking, and your complaining? NO STANDING means your quick, in and out just dropping someone off. doesnt sound like you did that. im not sticking up for the cop but have a little bit of common sense here.
