Well Done Sytner High Wycombe

Following my recent bump into the kerb and experience with BMW Assist I felt I ought to give credit where its due.

The car was taken to Sytner High Wycombe and had a KDS alignment check, as expected everything was out but no other damage was found.

The car was set up correctly and taken for a test drive, a further tweak and everything was sorted. Total bill £149.

Really pleased there was no other damage and that the KDS alignment was on a special offer.

I must give a special mention and thanks to Petra who is the Service Reception Manager, she has been in contact with me all week and made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible, even remembered not to wash the car!!

Well done Petra and Sytner High Wycombe

Good to hear you're back on road, that was pretty quick too. Well done Sytner. I guess Anneka @ Sytner's presence on the forum contributes to the good service.

I believe the car was also detailed recently, and incorrect washing could have lead to marring, swirls or worse rds's on the faultless paint finish

I noticed Sytner Harold Wood have printed sheets saying 'Do Not Wash This Car' and they put a few of these around my car, so as to avoid any confusion to not wash it :-D

I bought my 135i from Sytner High Wycombe.

Can't fault Bob Clarke who I bought the car from, as there were some imperfections on the paint when I collected.

He compensated me with a free iPod Y-Cable and convinced Sytner Sheffield to repair the car for me FOC.

I did have to sort some bits and pieces out and it was a slight hassle, but it did get done, which is the crucial point.

During this process, I had a call from the customer service department who asked me to score various things out of 5... I told them that I couldnt until this was resolved. This resulted in them giving High Wycombe a 0....

Bob got shafted and rang me to apologise... I don't think he believes me when I explained both on the phone and via email that the above has happened and he sounded genuinely hurt.

I redid the questionairre online, and scored it correctly based on my level of happiness both during and after the process.

Hopefully all is now well, but I am not sure!!

Anyway, FYI!

Matt

As much as I appreciate a free wash they will never take as much care as I would and yes I have just machine polished the car myself so am a little protective.

Thats really not fair that Bob got shafted. Hope he's better now.
Apologies for messing with your original message and going off topic

Yes I do

In fact I've been detailing since yesterday, just finished the first of three cars . The sun shine hitting the car after I had finished has left me temporarily blinded

I normally really rate them but had one muppet mess me about on a warranty claim that after escalation was sorted out. The whole experience felt like going to the dentist. The guy I usually deal with was on holiday.

Least it was sorted, give them another chance maybe ask for Petra who is Service reception manager, she really seems to care about customer satisfaction.

Sorry about that Neil, it's a pity things had to be escalated, in future though if you're ever unhappy with the way things are (or might be going) then give me a shout and I'll do the shouting on your behalf p.s. you have PM

Jon, any idea how long the special offer on the KDS was lasting for?

Hotcoupe - just PM Anneka @ Sytner ^^^^^^

Credit where its due, she's been instrumental in organising some great service & prices for me and other members. I'm sure she posted when OP had the unfortunate accident.
