angel eyes - blown bulb? alternative options?

Hi All - my O/S angel eyes aren't working. Assuming that it's the bulb(s?) that has gone, how easy is it to replace myself?

Is there a DIY guide on E90post.com?

What are my options in terms of bulb alternatives? Shall I just get an OEM from the stealer? TBH - I prefer the existing orange/yellow glow (which I personally feel looks better on a black car with black grills), but could always be swayed.

Thanks in advance - Aky

LED's, LED's, LED's!!!

This is what I have, do they not appeal?

p.s. to fit it's a bumper off job. Bit of a pain, but well worth it!

isn't it just a case of removing panel from the wheelarch liner and getting access that way? (or is that wishful thinking?)

There's no way you could fit LED angels this way. I would say it's impossible doing it blind.

It's bloody worth the effort taking the bumper off if you ask me. I'm no mechanic at all, it took me about 4 hours, learnt a lot about the car and felt very satisfied with the result.
