For a TurboFan engine, wouldn't that be afterburners and not boost?

I was fortunate enough to break the sound barrier on a commerial flight back from Florida.

My family were the last to leave the plane at the time and as the captain opened to cockpit door one of my sons asked how fast we had went. His reply was that we had a 180mph tail wind and technically broke the sound barrier, a first for him too.

I didn't have the heart to tell him that he had me to thank as I had ate baked beans the night before.

Oh my, has that ever happened? ;P

haha....Not a laughing matter, I've seen quiet few ppl try to ZZZzZZZ.
Its def a job that makes you fatigue QUICK if you haven't had adequate sleep the night b4 and you get up to try to handle a 8hr flying schedule that might stretch to 16hrs of duty time when you factor in the time between flights.
Oh well @ 27 I think I am still too young, oh and I always make sure to get my 8hrs of sleep in.
