Why would you clean the inside? The exhaust gases are just going to blacken the surface again within a few miles anyway.

![]() For the insides, I'd probably start with some sort of APC (such as TAW or CG Grime Reaper) with a brush or blue Scotch sponge to agitate, then follow up with some wadding polish (Eagle One) and/or something like OPT Metal Polish.

If you maintain them it's not a problem. When you let em get out of hand, you might have to break out some #0000 steel wool! |

It stands for All Purpose Cleaner. There's a wide variety of products that could be described as APCs - from Megs D101 for interior use to CG Grime Reaper which is more powerful and could be used for engine bays, tires, or the inside of exhaust pipes.

Ive been cleaning the inside of mine since day 1. Really sets you apart from others at car shows/meets ETC
Normally, soap and water does the trick if you maintain. Same goes for cleaning the inside of the wheels and behind the spokes. Anyway, if it gets a little tough I usually use some basic OTC metal polish for the inside. Dont waste the good stuff on the inside of the tips ![]() |
