Ground kits

Anyone using grounding kits on their cars? Not sure if it's really necessary for our cars. Just wondering...

A grounding kit is basically a set of wires that you could buy that boosts the voltage in your electtrical system by improving the grounding in your electrical system. It relies on better wuality cables that have less resistance, are thicker, and are closer to the battery and engine, so it is easier for the electrical current to pass through. This is similar to the Big3 in car audio. It "theoretically" gives a small gain in horsepower because it boosts your voltage to your ecu and ignition wiwhich will create a hotter spark and more power. Testing has shown minimal gains of a a few hp on jdm cars, but I personally dont think it really works.
These kits sell for $150-200 but are simly a set of wires that you can really make yourself using some low guage power wire and some ring terminals and a solderer. I personally think its a JDM thing and shouldn't be on a BMW. Not worth the money either.
