Retrofitting Euro 320iT exhaust system on 2011 US 328iT

Hi,
Bit of an unusual idea but has anyone researched or have info on the possibility of retrofitting the European model 335iT exhaust (twin tip spaced) onto a 2010/2011 328iT? I have a solution for a quad tip retrofit with either Remus or GPower for the 328iT but also like the idea of the dual spaced tip offered std on the MSport optioned 320iT in Europe - I have a source for parts but not enough technical info as to viability of such a mod e.g. does the cat layout on the US model differ from the Euro 320iT etc. The 320iT MSport diffuser looks identical in size to that offered on the 328iT except for the tip locations of course so would either cut mine or get oem part also.

Doesn't the 320i have an oval shaped exhaust tip? Don't think I've ever seen one with dual tips...

I am thinking of the dual exhaust that is on the 335iT but was fairly certain that I configured a 320iT on the German BMW site which had the same dual spaced exhaust - same question though, is the under carriage of the 335iT radically different to that of the 328iT such that a retrofit is simply not feasible?

OK - went back to the site and indeed you are entirely correct - I should be referring to the European 335iT exhaust setup and if it is possible again to retrofit to a US spec 328iT (3.0 litre engine).

Some people have retrofitted a dual exhaust to a non-335 on here, but it would seem to be a custom job. Here's an example:

Excellent - just what I was looking for - of course not sure of the layout under the 2011 as yet, as mine is on order - presumably not diff from '09 model - had a 325iT prior and just sold it. Think I almost prefer this to the Remus quad that is available for the wagon - will definitely explore further. Thx for the link,
