wheel alignment after mounting new set of tires?
Hi:
Do I need to do wheel alignment after mounting a set of new wheel/tire? The offset between the new and old setup are a bit different. Thanks |

ppl say that but I never do it. I look at the original tires, if the original tires wear evenly, then i do not realign the new set of tires. If the original tires have uneven wear, then I realign the new set of tires. What would you do if you only have to replace the 2 rear tires? how would you go about realignment because the two front tires are still factory. Any suggestions anyone?

Changing tires/wheels should not affect your alignment, but it is a good time to get the alignment checked. If you have uneven wear, get a complete four wheel alignment.
