After my car accident, because some idiot hit me from behind, he said "Oh I did not see you!" I bought the euro switch and leave it on all the time and everyone avoids me now.

IMO its a good and safe investment!

Ummm is this at all legal? Seems a little dangerous since people like to act like idiots when they see the reverse lights come on.

Reverse lights are white, the fog lights are bright red.

Um your reverse lights do not come on. The light below them does. Its red and super bright.

Yes it is legal because audis benzes and porsches have them standard.

I had it on my E90 and my gf has it on her E92. Makes a big difference in poor weather such as snow fog and rain...

^ i had to drive behind a e92 coming back from VA in the rain.. and his rear fog light was killing me !! too bright !

you can do the lego mod
or
you can find someone who did the euro switch already and ask for their clip from the old switch

Did this mod its so easy, I used a popsicle stick and a pen cover and it worked like a charm. Theres a Ton of DIY about this mod.
