Best/Easiest Car Cover for e92?
Can anyone recommend a good quality car cover for the e92?
It would be great if they're water-resitant (I live in Seattle), and easy to put on the car and stow away. Since I dont have a garage anymore, I want to make sure my new car is taken care of when she's sleeping outside! (sorry for the re-post; I accidentally posted this in the "new car ordering" section before realizing it should be here)

I've seen some car covers years ago that have a special storage compartment that makes it really easy to reel and unreel the car cover from the trunk.
Do you know if the OEM cover does this? I'd prefer something that easily folds back up when not in use (instead of dealing with manually folding a car cover every morning). Yes, I'm lazy!

You probably already know, but just to note that if your car is somewhat dirty or even dusty, it's best not to put a cover on it as swirl marks can result, especially on jet black.

I'm looking at the 2007 3-series accessories catalog right now and BMW has an outdoor car cover specifically for the 3 series sedan and coupe, the rest are just generic I suppose, or E90 only as the picture looks like.
"Washable, three-ply fabric cover helps keep rain, dirt, and dust off - but lets air circulate through. Features overlapped seams and reinforced grommets, Storage bag included. Cable lock optional." 3 Series Sedan and Coupe: Part #: 82 11 0 399 144 Price: $197

as heezyo20 said, cany have any dirt on the car otherwise you'll just get scratches on the paint. this is o SO true, all the car cover will do is trap any dirt between it and the car and any wind, agitation, anything will cause the dirt to scratch the paint, even though the scratches can be miniscule they will quickly add up and mar the paint surface. over time dirt can also find its way under covers if wind and whatnot kicks it up. this said, covers are basically pointless unless used with extreme care and preparation.
