So I'm a high school Senior and I've been accepted to both UCF and FSU. I'm planning to major in Biology and go on to Medical School. I am not sure whether to go to UCF or FSU to get my BS. Any imput?

You are out of your mind right? FSU is nationally known for the quality of it's female population.
To the OP, I'm not sure which bio program is better, though they did just finish all the new biology buildings about a year and a half ago (at FSU) and they are really nice. Visit both schools and go to whichever one you feel would be a better fit for you.

Just went up to fsu last weekend, liked the campus alot but the dorms sucked pretty bad, I liked fsu's campus better than ucf's. I dont really know much about which has a better medical program though

Smith, Kellum, Salley and Deviney/Dorman are pretty bad as they are the oldest and haven't been renovated. I lived in Bryan my freshman year and it was a great experience. It's the oldest building on campus, but had been completely brought up to date and was really nice inside. It even had a classroom in the dorm that you took one of your classes in ![]()

I go to UCF, it's a pretty good school. If you want to do well in school go to UCF. My friends live in tallahassee and go to FSU. Major party school. hahaha. i go up to tally from time to time and its a lot of fun and I think if I lived there, I'd fail. I'm in Premed program at UCF and I really like it. +1 for UCF.

Oh! Here we go. FSU girls are hotter. NO! UCF girls are hotter. Blah blah blah!
I went to USF and seen many hot USF girls, but I've seen hotties from UF, UCF, Miami, and FSU. In other words, every university has their fare share of hot talent so enough with that BS. For you to decide which school to go to, think about what the tuition costs would be, living expenses, cost of books, etc, etc, etc. Also, how far away are FSU and UCF from your home? Do you want to be far away from your parents or do you want to be close so you can visit home on the weekends? Do you have any friends also going those schools? It's tough being a freshman when you don't know anyone, so if you have a friend, you can help each other out. Other things to consider are party hot spots or places to go to hang our or have fun. There's also sports like NCAA football and basketball if you're into sports. At FSU, it's a very respected school which has been around for decades. Basically it's a college town and pretty much lives and dies during and after football season. Although, right now, the football program is going nowhere, but with their new coach, they may make a comeback to glory. There's really isn't much going on in the city so you have travel outside if you want find something fun to do. If want to go to the beach, there's Panama City, Destin, or any places up the panhandle gulf coast. That's pretty much it. Now at UCF, there's always something going on as it's pretty much a central hub for a lot of things. You've all kinds of theme parks, restaurants, and many entertainment districts all over Orlando. The football team is ok, but they're going nowhere. They had their football program for well over 20 years and they've never been a great team nor any kind of national contender. They have no shot any BCS championship because they're in a shitty conference which isn't in the BCS. If you want to go to the beach, you can go to Daytona or St. Pete/Clearwater. There's so many different places to go. Now don't forget, if you are intent on going to medical school, you need to be really really focused on your studies because all these social distractions and partying could ruin your chances of getting into a good medical school. You've got to study real hard to ace your core classes, graduate with a perfect or nearly perfect GPA, and kick ass on your MCAT scores. Other things to know is that, in addition to biology, you have to take other classes such as bio chemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, microbiology, etc, etc, etc. because when you take the MCATs you're going to have know that stuff. I don't want to scare you, but if you put your mind to it, you can go to any medical school you want whether it's UCF, FSU, USF, UF, Miami, or wherever. Best of luck in whichever school you choose.
