Ricers. WHY??
So the other day I'm with my friend in his E92 M3 going down a rather wide road(4 lanes total 2 in each direction). We're going about 40mph and some guy with his fatass female passenger in his 02 Prelude with dark wheels drives by us staring at us quite sternly. After a red light, we begin to accelerate from the light. Moving along, we started to hear this little fly buzzing sound pulsating. We look around and its the guy next to us. tapping the gas pedal with his passenger glaring at us. For fun, my friend downshifts from 7th gear to 3rd. next thing we knew the guy took off and so did we. Obviously, we instantly flew past him. In front of us was a car and a red light, and we were going to turn right at the intersection so we slowed down. Then he just pulls a successful ricer flyby whilst going into the left turn lane. All we heard was tin can exhaust and his V-TEC kicking in(literally). As we made the right turn staring back at him, he gives us the middle finger. We had a good laugh, but seriously, WTF is up with these people?

Rice rocket or not, I'm sure he spent at least 10k on his Prelude. At the end of the day, you're still in a M3, and he's in a honda with Mcfatty (but personally, I don't have anything against preludes. I would've loved to drive one in high school instead of the nothing that I got.) |

WTF is up with anyone that pays any attention to or reacts to someone acting like like that?
All that was accomplished is that a dangerous situation was created. CA

Ok so this question maybe a lil off topic, but around the same area. 1st the guy in the prelude prob has a small penis so he overcompensates by flying by stopped cars. 2nd what makes a car a ricer car? I had a 1987 toyota supra nice clean that would probably take 80% of the cars on this forum ( no disrespect to anyone ). No i had no stickers no ginormous wing, just clean tasteful look.

Same thing happened to me. A Honda was trying to get me to race for about 5 miles he finally pissed me off to the extent of doing it. I beat him by 45 school buses and when i slowed down he was hitting his head in the headrest and smashing his hands in the steering wheel from frustration. Ricers are the idiots of the car world

Whenever that happens (Probably once every every other week) I totally disregard them. Usually it is some 16 year old kid in his quarter ton pickup, or similar to the OP's situation, a run down Honda. Its just not worth it. You know your car handles better and is an all around better automobile, so whats the point? Quote:

the guy must not know anything about cars if he pulls up next to an E92 M3 and thinks he has a chance.

i didnt know the e92 m3 had a 7-speed tranny. it just seems like it may be too many gears (not that ive driven the the M, but 7 seems like overkill). i see the day all our cars will have CVT's
