*NEW pics added - 19" style 230s on e90 !!!
Here are a few pics with my new 19" style 230 wheels finally on the car.
Got them used from Mstyle (via ebay) - must say excellent service from them and a very good price too. They came with Bridgestone RFT, not ideal but not as firm and crashy as I feared it might be, slightly noisier than Continentals though. Anyone considering going for 19" - just do it, you won't regret it. OUT WITH THE OLD - STYLE 159 WITH 17" RFT... IN WITH THE NEW - STYLE 230 WITH 19" RFT...

Thanks for the comments !
Will probably go the Falken non RFT route, when the Bridgestones wear out. Wheels are OEM 19" BMW - made sure there were no cracks and that they kept their pressure before putting them on. Non sport suspension - lowered would look awesome, but want to keep car pretty stock, and don't want ride any firmer TBH. Can't stop looking at my wheels haha - well happy with the results !

Exhaust mod is just the unplug the cable in the boot mod, to keep the flap permanently open in both exhaust pipes. Doesn't make much difference tbh.
No de-chroming for me, keeping the window trim and grill stock, quite like the contrast. Currently still working my way round detailing car by hand - been doing it for bloody weeks... Can't wait for summer. Would really like a cold air intake tho, used to have k&n induction on previous car. Very expensive for something similar on e90, Simota version is 400 squid - too much money ! Reckon blacklines will be next purchase

You should deffo do it - ride is very slightly harsher, but not as bad as I thought it might be, and Bridgestones slightly noisier. Wife hasn't noticed any difference, and she would be the first to complain !!!
