Another Spot of Bad Luck

As some of you know I recently had to have a new Run Flat Tyre fitted due to a puncture. Well when fitting the new tyre my alloy wheel was dropped on the floor!

Anyway they agreed to have the wheel repaired at their cost. I picked the car up this afternoon and just my luck about 5 miles from my house the Tyre pressure warning light came on again.

This could be the 2nd new tyre in a week!!

The alloy wheel might have split.

I'm trying to be optimistic here but are you sure it's not because the new tyre has been fitted and the TPWS needs re-setting? I had a new tyre fitted on my 335d because the RF tyre developed a bulge on the side wall! Whilst driving home from the tyre place after about 3 miles the warning light came on. It needed to recognise the new tyre if that makes sense?

Was fine after that, never came on again.

I have checked the pressures with a handheld Tyre pressure monitor, pressure was reduced every time I checked

Im in a similar position.
Keep getting screws in my rear tyres, deliberate or not, i'm not sure.
Had to replace two tyres at short notice last night so went to dealer who ended up scrapping some paint off the perfect condition alloys
