Exhaust change from 320 to 335

I really like the twin seperate exhaust on the 335d and was wondering if they can be fitted on the 320d msport models.

I know i would need to change the lower bumper moulding to accomadate the additional pipe.

Has any one done this and does any one know how much it will cost.

Thanks

By doing what you propose, will make it look like a 335i/d. In which case you'll be flamed for making it look more, how can I put this...desirable than it is currently. (No offence, you 320d owners know I like 320d). Much like putting an M3 badge on a 116d

But if it's what you want go for it, no one here is going to stop you. Personally I would say get a better exhaust trim for the 320d or at the max put a twin on one side like the 330i/d 325i equivalents and spend the rest on a re-map and other cosmetics.

Hi SiKkBaSs, I like your suggestions, the only cosmetics i like to do is the privacy glass.

The rest was all done from the prevoius owner, his put the two rear spoilers, one on the tailgate another on the windscreen.

Its a black Msport, with black leather heated seats, light pack, xenons and jet washers.

Hi mate. Your car sounds nice as it is. Don't put the 335 pipes on it though, I've got a 320d and I've got a twin exit on the one side. It looks great and is just enough. The pipes on the 335 are designed for function too and it's making your car out to be something that it's not. Some might say that about the twin exit like mine but it was purely to get rid of the shoddy pipe that pointed to the deck. Really let the rear down. Get some picks of your motor up.

Mate do it with a bit of class. Keep what you have on. Get your tints if you want, get a black grille (yours may come with it), get a remap, stick a nice trim on the exhaust or dual it up, lower it and get some blacklines. There's not much to making your E90 look individual and at the same time appealing.

People will say these mods make it look like the rest of the E90s on here but truth is that's because it genuinely looks good.

Theres a huge amount more power in the 320d than a 320i. Magnitudes more. Just saying Not comparable

Of course I agree otherwise though. 335d conversion on the 320 would look silly...

LOL....put an aftermarket twin one on (not the dual 335 though).....
modding is good fun! and will improve the looks...

but

do not style it out as a 335
do not put extra M badges
do not put quad exhaust
do not add any M3 bits to it...( the M3 Lip spoiler is the only exception to the rule!)

Thanks for all your input into this guys.

mikeysix- How much did the twin for one side cost ? is it also more for the function rather than the looks ? And will putting a twin on one side have any performance issues.

some thing like this will be a nice upgade imo

http://www.eisenmann.co.uk/gallery.shtml

I wouldn't put a quad exhaust on mine same way i think single pipe guys shouldn't put dual on theres

But these twin pipes are a nice addition if you ask me

edit:Sorry link not showing what i want it to pic below

I would never go for the quad just looks too fake if your cars not a m3 saloon

I still like the idea of the split double, going to look at MO_1 who had it done.
