It is not available through the dealer. I got it from a local E90Post Member.

Noticed the difference immediately. Car seems to be more planted when taking corners.

very nice, looking to get one once i put my coilovers on. Does it not work with the DCI? just curious because you posted it like it wouldnt work with any other system. Is there a part number on the unit? if it is made by bmw then we should be able to source it

The Strut Bar won't work if you have the regular OEM Air box. It is not made by BMW so I dont have a part number for it. Sorry.

I am not 100% sure if this will work with the BMS DCI. I know another person you has this with the Injen Dual Intake setup.

I don't know why I was confused for a second and thinking this was like the Dinan one, which adds to the OEM intake, so you have two sources of air. This replaces the OEM one, so instead of air coming in from the grills, it's coming from a single cone filter down low somewhere?

The cone filter goes all the way down to the front portion of the bumper.
It basically next to the fog lights.

So what is the idea between these and the OEM intake? The OEM intake is sucking in cold air thru the two grills in the front, isn't it? The Dinan (or Mr. 5's intake - look on the tuning subforum) I can see is a big improvment, considering it adds even more air to the OEM setup, but adding a second source from down below, not replacing the OEM setup, which seems to already be getting cold air?

Just search on E90Post as well: "Ultimate Racing CAI". It should give you plenty of links to read.
