DAMNIT! did a little mistake how can i fix?
alright, so i was backing out of a parking spot, and i was alittle lower than the ashpalt i was getting onto.
so i get onto it and BOOM! hit the car.... so now checked under fortauntly everything is fine except one thing. you guys know where the Jack points are, they are all scraped on the front two, how can i smooth them out? or is there some plastic puddy that will harden or something? man i feel stupid.... |

Just buy two new ones. They're cheap...

I have knocked my left side ones off and the dealer and I agreed not to replace them due to run flats and the dealer not using them to jack up anyway. So mine are missing.

Somehow my front passenger jack point is broken. I went to the dealer and the service guy told me he will put new one on (free) when I bring the car in for its first oil change. Car is now 7,000 miles. We'll see what his definition of free is...
For those who are thinking about buying one and replacing them yourself, how are you going to do that? I do not see a screw under it so how to take the bad/broken piece and put in new piece? Any idea how to replace it (for a DIY)? It is dangerous to mess under the car if you don't have experience with lifting car. |

I know the ones on the MINI just clip into place. And I'm pretty sure the E90's are exactly the same. You could probably pull the old one off with a set of vice grips without even lifting the car from the ground!
