2007 Audi A4 detail

2007 Audi A4
So I arrived at the clients house at about 1pm to get started on what I thought would be a simple one step and 3 hours later be out of there with an overall “shiney car” waiting til summer for a full re-vamp of the paint…yeah, that’s not in my nature!!!

Here is what I was greeted with upon arrival (lacking full sun as it rained that day and night)

It was obviously “detailed” prior to being sold…tisk tisk!

I washed it outside and it started to sprinkle a little bit, so I pulled it inside to clay it. I removed a lot of dirt and debris from the paint. Here is what I was left with:

All taped up and ready to rock:

Here are the afters…some are in a different setting on accident, but its all I have. Excuse any smearing, it was 930 at night and raining = moisture in the air and no sense in wiping a black car 100 times after polishing.

And here are the afters the owner took the next day:

Overall, a HUGE improvement! Holograms and buffer trails removed, and about 90% paint cleanup! This one took a little over 8.5 hours to get a wash, clay, compound, polish, sealant, and tidy up. I could tell they wanted me out of there, so I didn’t take too many afters, so Ill let the owner speak for my work!!!

wow great... unfortunately my dealership screwed up my black bimmer's paint prior to delivery as well I guess i'll have to get it done professionally later. Just wondering, could you pm me how much that 9 hour job cost (i'm trying to get a rough estimate)? thanks.
