E91 Roof rails

Does anyone know is it possible take away the roof rails afterwards or will there leave screw holes?

they can be removed, and the little flaps that are on the other e90 models that cover up the rack mounts are in place, so it'll end up looking fine.

HOWEVER, it is a pretty serious and difficult DIY job. There's a write up here somewhere, just search for it.
