for the 335i owners, are you thinking about getting custom performances blow off valve kit and exhaust found here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33798 and http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33799?
i spoke to a cpe rep. and they said the bov will not make the pst sound when the car is driven "hard". now on a normal turbo car, doesn't the pst sound come everytime you just get off the gas pedal and not just when you really drive the car hard? i am not too interested on their mufflers as pretty soon super sprints will come out for our cars (headers, cats, exhaust, etc). the bov i am interested in as i do want the pst sound. some call it ricey, but i think it makes the car even more unique and is the start of some great mods to come ![]() |

Isnt the only reason to get a BOV the pst sound? I'm sure the car has a standard bypass valve that accomplishes the same things as a BOV, except it recirculates the preasure instead of releasing it.
