Iphone & Blackberry...Same Account???
I used to have AT&T Blackberry Bold (with a Blackberry Unlimited Data Plan) and an Iphone and I moved the Sim back and forth as I saw fit. The only issue I had was that Visual Voicemail on the Iphone didn't work. Can somebody tell me...does this still work?
I am currently on Verizon, but want to come back to AT&T, but ONLY if I can get a BB and an Iphone to operate on the same phone number. ANY WAY to accomplish this would be much appreciated. |

The sim in my BB Bold 9700 is the same size as would fit into an iPhone, so I don't see why not. I can switch inbetween my BlackJack and my BB no problem.

You shouldn't have a problem. A few weeks ago, I smashed my iPhone and stuck the sim in my old Razr(ugh) and didn't have a problem. As long as you have a smartphone data plan I'd say you're set.

Curious, why not? Quite a few iphone users told att that they had blackberries so their jailbroken iphones could send mms messages before that was officially supported.

Like already stated, you need to change your plans in order for data to work correctly, and then there's the VM part of things as well.... My wife's got a 9700 and a 3GS and she just has a sim for each.
An extra line isn't that much. What do you need to keep both for and why would you want them to share a number? |
