How often do you wash your ride?

One thing I never factored into my monthly budget when I got my 335i was weekly car washes. Seems silly to be riding around in a nice ride that isn't kept clean, as such, I pretty much hit the car wash every Friday!

Just curious how often forum members wash their cars (either themselves or at commercial car washes)?

also the term is not bi-monthly.. it is bi-weekly...

bi-monthly refers to every other month...

Good point. Brain fart on my part.

It doesn't look like I can edit the poll once it's been posted.

About twice a week at most, depending on weather. I've enrolled the E90 at a well known hand car wash place for unlimited washes, costing me only $30/mth.

Yeah, that's probably the way to go.

My favorite local car wash, Autobell (http://www.autobell.com/) has a similar deal for $25/month for exterior only which is what I'd be interested in since I keep the interior spotless.

Now that I have BSM, I don't touch the car ever

Seriously though, I wash her every other week. IMO, no matter how careful you are, you'll get visible swirls IF you wash your car too much. And with black-colored cars, these swirls show up like crazy. Hence, I have gone from weekly to every other week....sometimes even just once a month when the weather behaves.

Winter = Whenever it gets above freezing so not that much.
Summer = Once a week unless there's no rain it can go longer

For a long time I was very good about weekly washes. Lately it's been about every other week, and I'm sort of annoyed at myself.

Winter - touchless washes when it's very cold and/or when I don't have time to do ONR washes in the garage. Spring/Summer/Fall - at least weekly, either ONR or full washes by hand, anytime the temperature is above 45ish.

Can't stand a dirty car, so spring can't come soon enough in my opinion!

back in the day with other cars and a garage, I was washing weekly to two times a week! needless to say, the neighbors thought I was crazy!

I wash mine weekly in the winter (heated garage) and as often as needed in the summer to maintain a spotless car in spring/summer/fall...ONR is a godsend...

Now, my wife's QX56...best case scenario..2X/mo...but it will go through the touchless sprays as needed..

Usually every other week depending on weather. In the winter it can be less often due to weather and road conditions.

My dealer has unlimited car washes for free if you bought it there. I don't use it, but it's there. I usually wake up every Saturday morning and wash my car.
