What would you do?
So after a quick browse of the AUC site I have come across two cars that I like!
car 1: 123 M Sport Coupe 2009 Space grey - Red Leather Nav BT CC Voice just over 7K miles all for £24295 (there is a smiliar one for just under 24K also) Car 2: E92 330d M Sport 2007 Blue - Black Leather BT Nav Voice 32K miles £24031 So what would you do? Roughly the same price but the E92 is obviously abit more car but the trade off is age and miles? Does this matter? cheers ![]() Last edited by Porta; 03-06-2010 at 01:03 PM.. |

I would def get the E92, though would get it in black or space grey
EDIT: And I'd buy a well cared for, FBMSH car privately. I bought a 56 plate 335d E92 12 months ago for £21.5k. Last edited by Rushall; 03-06-2010 at 02:22 PM.. |

Hmmm that's a tough choice as they are both cracking cars, ultimately I would head towards the 330d
The 123d is sublime though, I loved the one we test drove last year |

123d if they'll do the servicing pack at the offer price of £250 (as it won't have had the 1st service) would be most tempting to me.
But it comes down to your needs and the use you'll put the car to. The 123d is a cracking drive, but the 330d does have the six cylinder engine that really is nicer sounding and smoother. Performance wise there really isn't anything to choose between them on the road (and only a couple of tenths here and there on paper). It was a close run thing when I changed the 330d to the 135i, head said 123d all the way, but the sound of a six cylinder is addictive. ![]() If they are anywhere near local to you go and have a look and drive of both.

With lots of miles being put away, the benefits of the smaller 4-pot diesel would be hard to ignore, but I would side-step it because I'm not fond of the red interior. You say there is another similar E92 for the same price? What colour-combo is it?
I wouldn't be too worried about age/miles, but electronic niggles would concern me so make sure you get some sort of warranty (May be included with the benefits of an AUC) I'm leaning more towards the E92, but make sure you get something knocked off that asking price, or something significant added to your part-exchange (if there is one) |
