courage has left the building
Courage has just left the UK, headed for the east coast of the USA. Who else is aboard?

Also on the Courage
I'm on the courage too. Waiting for a 335i sedan. How are you tracking the Courage? The tracking site I tried only had data from September.
I opted for the AT after test driving a coupe with it. I never thought I would buy an automatic in a car, but it was almost as fun as a manual and I'll still be able to drink coffee, etc. in the stop and go commute!:rocks: |

I was hoping I was on this. Three days after the Courage left, 800# still said awaiting vessel. CA called a couple of days ago and said I was on the Courage. He confirmed I probably won't receive the car til just after Thanksgiving. I'm in South Florida. From what I understand, this ship became a "local" and is stopping at EVERY port. I think its even scheduled to stop in Maryland. Looks like it stopped twice already in Belgium. Reminds me of getting stuck on the local train in NYC. Below is a link to the Courage's schedule. The port turns red after the Courage gets there.
Link didn't work so I copied all info into post. Simply go to WW site and track for ships leaving prior to Nov 2nd. When Courage comes up, click on the call letters and schedule should come up. http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...selSchedule.do Voyage Details Vessel: COURAGE Voyage: EB643-COG The sailing schedule and ports of call are subject to change without notice. Note: Red ports of call means the vessel has already sailed. I just checked the schedule at port of charleston's web site:
http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp It shows Courage will be at "UP" (Union Pier Terminal) on 11/14/06. Scroll down to about the middle of the page you will see it. This is different than what the shipping company's schedule. I am confused. It looks like the shipping company's schedule is more realistic. But you never know. |

I'm on Courage as well and my CA has just informed me that the port arrival date is 11-22. Here's a link for tracking your vessel in route but you'll have to wait until it's near a port: http://www.aislive.com/AISLivePortal...ndex=0&tabid=1

335i Coupe - TiAG, Black Leather, Brushed Aluminum, AT, ZSP, ZPP, Paddle Shifters, Nav, PDC, Heated Seats, Satellite Radio. My order was placed early October and has moved very fast. We're lucky to be on this ship. Anyone expecting a car that's still in production around Christmas will have an extra 2 week wait as all BMW plants shut down for the holiday... so I'm told.

Good clip across the atlantic
Looks like the Courage is making good progress. Does anyone know where the midwest cars are shipped to? I'm assuming NY/NJ so hopefully I'll get mine before Thanksgiving.

whoa... a little off track. Hopefully they're not too drunk on the way over. New location says courage is rather close to greenland ( or at least i think thats greenland) only about 400 miles north of "suggested" track accross the atlantic

lol, yeah, that better not be right.... I'm providing a link. Not sure if everyone see the same as I do. It basically shows me the 3 times I checked it. Seems like it was going right along the longitude line(I think that's longitude) until now its suddenly up there. No way it made it up there that quickly. Either someone made a hard right and gun'd it to pick up some drugs or that's an error. I'm hoping for the latter. Then again, its not scheduled to get into NY for another 5 days. Guess they figured they had some time to kill and went fishing. Will check back in the morning... When clicking on the link, zoom out 3 times to get the "big picture"
