well not really, the idea is so people can see which one is brighter. Even though they do have fitment for all BMW from 1-Z

any strobing with the mtec? I hear the lux strobes during the fade on/fade off during locking and unlocking your car. Does Mtec do this?

When you lock/unlock, the "flicker/strobe" effect is simply the nature of how the LED behaves and there's no way around it. Though, when you start the car it does not strobe nor flash.

No strobe, flashing, errors, etc. with the mtecs at all.

Mtec doesnt have any LED's for E92 yet, but they do have H8 halogen bulbs already
